President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Those are nice, but I like our Old Glory better.
Thanks, by the way. You learn something new everday on the Dose.

If I remember correctly, their slogan was "Happy Eating". I had a red ball cap with that slogan on it, plus the SONIC corporate name/symbol. I got a lot of queries about Sonic, because they hadn't moved into the northern tier of states yet. Weather driven decision. I see they still use/employ the roller skating car hops.

Another slogan was "Service at the Speed of Sound." In the last 2-3 years they've been popping up all of AZ. My friend went to and opening this weekend in the Globe area. I wasn't one of their skating hops. For me, skates and food don't mix. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

Cold in Illinois, eh? I do NOT want to hear that, OK? DO SOMETHING about the weather, ASAP.
Thank you.

You're starting it again, just egging me on...(it's controllable giggles so far)

I'm not saying anything, I am not going to say anything, nope, not going to say anything about anybody's 'back' being covered up by anybody else, not going to go there, uh-unh.

I sense that you all have just passed the point of no return. Should the rest of us brace ourselves? :-)

That's right, very clever slogan. I figured the skating thing would fade away due to a rash of injured workers sueing Sonic. In Kentucky. we stopped at a Sonic (first time for me in decades) and out comes a motor scooting mama ripping the concrete up in a pair of skates.

That's up to a certain freeper, named Up. Who, by the way, if he sees this, has mail!!!
