President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Awesome pictures rintense! Wasn't able to make it to the Dose last night, but there are some great pictures here. Okay, not some, ALL! Love the one where the President is being welcomed by a sea of people who clearly admire him (post 1). What a guy. No matter how young or old you are, you just can't help but love this guy!

Playing hide-and-seek with SS?!?
More from yesterday...
Some have asked about that medal Dubya has... According to the WH website, the medal is given to individuals whose contributions have benefited the Lithuanian nation or the welfare of mankind.
Everyone take a good look at the following photo. These are non-Americans braving a cold rain to cheer for our President.

Yeah...silly President....tricks are for kids! Oh wait, sometimes I think he is a kid at heart. At least he needs to be at times, given the weight he must bear for us all.
As for that pic of Romanians in the rain....I ask myself: What foreign president would I do that for? I can't think of a one. I did, however, once travel far and pay much money to meet the Baroness Lady Thatcher.

W IN RUNNING TIGHTS!!! WWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I saw something on here about how a van full of photographers "accidentally" ran up on the curb and took these photos of the President running? I thought that sounded weird. But who am I to question when it brings me photos of the President in RUNNING TIGHTS WBAHAHAHAHAHAH
Mtngrl--where's my fan! I am going to need it!!!
I posted this on a caption thread for this photo:
What's going on here? W and I are playing hide and seek. He is winning.
W: "Marco!!!"
Lawgirl: "POLO!!!"
W: "Marco"
Lawgirl: "POLO!"

Would you look at the size of that crowd ? I read that it was estimated to be about 50,000 people. It is pretty darn cold in November in that part of the world without standing in the rain for hours. Everyone must have been numb by the time they got home. brrrrr. All those happy, smiling faces would be right at home here on the Dose. :)

Rintense, you're the best! Thanks for the surprise Sunday pics. That Dubya still has a sense of humor, bless him!

Evening baseballmom,
Thanks for your recent pings, re: Rush on Russert. I was cubicle bound but the play by play here was (as is customary) very detailed.
The pictures of -W- have been numerous here at the dose, akin to a smorgasbord. Kudos to rintense and a nod and a wink to her able bodied assistant MJY1288.
Made a point to read one of the posted articles about the press training at Quantico. It's probably a good idea to put these civlians through a preparatory mini camp since they are going into harms way. Point # 1, USMC doesn't want them getting killed while in their care, and point # 2, USMC doesn't want them getting any Marines killed while caring for them.

What a shot! What on earth do you think he might have been doing behind that bush? LOL. These pictures are great, Rintense! Thanks for the ping!
