A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 11/23/02

President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

"I suggest before you condemn the book that you read it. I am and I agree with Mike."

I didn't condemn the book, but I can well condemn Bob Woodward, who wrote it. He's got about 30 years of history behind him.......and I don't trust what he says, about anyone. He wrote his own destiny, and he can well live with it. And I will NOT read his book! LOL!

I totally agree, Kath. I hold my breath and say extra prayers for his safety when he goes out of the state.

Rush rules.

I have not listened to him for a few years, but boy he is reading my mind right now. Fantastic. He totally got me fired up in high school- I used to stay up until 1am every night watching him on TV.

Oops now he is talking about W's weaknesses. We might be disagreeing right now LOL!

Came across ? "American Marriage" ? in the book section (tiny) at the Kroger store tonight. It's about George and Laura's marriage, by a gentleman author named Andersen/Anderson. Anyone read it ?

To digress- Thanks for a yeoman's effort in posting the dose for us a few nights ago, during rinstense's absence.

Is Fighting Back the one by Bill Sammon?? If so, I own it (somewhere--I think my mom has it) and I LOVED IT and cried several times.

George W. Bush is a bigger blessing than I ever thought our country could possibly receive. His presidency has made me think that maybe there is some hope for this country after all.

I don't trust him either and neiter does Mike. But this is a fair book. And the insite into the meetings after 9-11 are fascinating. It shows what a great Leader President Bush is.

Lawgirl, Woodward also talked to alot of the Bush Team before writting the book. It is worth the read. And you know I would blast it if I thought it was unfair. Remember "Ambling into History"????

Kath I have not heard of that Ambling into History. Did Woodward write it?? I am so out of it with writing--college and law school (1993-2000) totally took me out of the loop.

Too bad, you will miss a good book on how Bush handled things after Sept 11th.

I don't like Woodward either but I will give credit where credit is due. It is a good book.
