President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I know this much about the books I have read written by the insiders........ George W. Bush is in charge and they are definately impressed with his leadership as well as the "Bush Doctrine"

Security could have been a primary reason for busing as well. In Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at the United Airlines Flight 93 Memorial, for security purposes and for traffic considerations, we were bused to the site. We were not searched individually, but any bags that we had in our possession were searched, prior to boarding our buses, and we were questioned as to whether we possessed any implements of cutlery. The president was to be there, but wasn't meeting with the public, so the cursory search was sufficient.

Citizen, I have to agree with you. I would not trust Woodward regarding the relationships ... mainly because Rush touched on it tonight in his interview with Russert. I believe Woodward assumed a great deal about what their relationships really are.

Welcome, happymom! Please make yourself at home. We're happy to have you here, happy you're happy to be here and especially happy you're happy. Happiness is really going 'round these days. :)
Look forward to seeing you around.

It really is something to think about, isn't it? And then to see him out there shaking hands with those people--I wonder what in the world those people must've thought. If you look in the photos from his perspective--like kind of behind W, you can see the eager faces of the people, heads craned, looking like they are standing on tiptoe looking at our georgeous president.
And a rainbow?? Like God was pointing out president and everything he stands for. I can't imagine what a great day it must've been for everyone there.
Thank God nothing happened to our W and Lady Laura over there. I always get nervous when they leave America.

Welcome happymom. Nice to meet you. Take your shoes off and sit a spell. I'm a Bush buck. We bucks are in the minority around here, but share common ground with our leader -W-.

Or do you know of someone who knows someone who is familiar with someone? Does this make sense to anyone else? LOL!! Gramma I don't know what you mean. I don't know where you can store .gifs--I use cartogra, but I think they don't allow gifs

OK, what's with the rainbow shot? Where is it? You mean it's ANOTHER rainbow picture???? NOT the ones we all have saved????
To: A Citizen Reporter
I suggest before you condemn the book that you read it. I am and I agree with Mike. I would not say so if I did not like it. Ask the people on here what I thought of Frank Buni's book.

Oh, I know! Can you even imagine "A Day in the Life of x42?" Bleccchhh!
I could look at President and Mrs. Bush all day, especially the pictures when they are together. They look so radiant!

I found a site that has some free gifs....but you're not supposed to link TO that site. So.....I'm saving the gif, and I need some Freeper's site (preferably) to upload said gif, so I can then use it here, freely.
Mud.
Clear as dark, gooey mud, right?
To: Brad's Gramma
Right--in the intro Rintense wrote that while W was talking today, a rainbow shown on the crowd and W said something like "god is smiling on us". I want a photo of that!

Just look at our history in the post WWII era. Liberals took over in the late 50's and early sixties and now the tables have turned. People are starting to realize that liberalism promotes mediocracy and un-accountability.
