Well...these aren't *real* bands. They're fakes. They're already formed teeny bop material, there's no music on MTV. That's the real reason I got rid of my telly. I loved MTV during the few grunge years, but Kurt died and they immediately switched to rap/brittany/christina/boyband/girlband non-music. MTV is worthless. So is music right now, unfortunately. Fortunately, we have the internet!

I always thought grunge was the absence of talent. Basically it was people dressed up as lumberjacks and actig all suicidal and depressed when they were rich, healthy and happy.

The entire grunge thing was people mistaking a lack of talent for genius.
