Rooney: Journalists Liberal, 'Suprised' Conservatives Won

60 Minutes commentator Andy Rooney who expressed 'surprise' at 'how conservative America has gotten,' nonetheless showed he was more aware of political idealogy than Phil Donahue.

Appearing on MSNBC Tuesday night, to Donahue's dismay, Rooney agreed with best selling author and Former CBS Newsman Bernard Goldbergs contention that most journalists view the world from the left.

'I think that most people I know tend towards the liberal direction, yes.'

When Donahue disagreed, Rooney was taken aback, 'You don't think that is true, come on Phil!'
