Nothin' like a little revisionism.

Am I the only one that remembers that George HW Bush had one of the most liberal voting records in Congress before he was foisted on Reagan's ticket?

Does no one else recall the collective groan that arose from hopeful Conservatives (and Reagan supporters) when said foisting was announced at the convention in Detroit? We were hoping for a Reagan-Crane ticket...

Come on, people...Bush was a liberal from the word "Go". Hell, he could not even pretend to be Conservative enough to win a second term, proving how much like Reagan people hoped he would be the first time around, and how much he wasn't. This after approval ratings in the 70s after the Gulf War (aka the War of Coitus Interruptus).

Certainly we can remember who Bush 41 really was, and hold the feet of Bush 43 to a hotter fire.

Would you rather visit the LBJ Library?

I don't think anyone is wholeheartedly endosing Bush41's record here.

Let's see...you're a Libertarian...NO? How about a Buchananite??? Guess you prefer the alternative....Clinton? How about Hitlary Clinton for next president?? Hey, when God returns we'll vote for him... but it takes 50% of our population to elect a president. Who's your recommendation? Many of us a more conservative than most of our presidents, but we're not crazy enough to vote 3rd party.

Try the Democrat sites for a little reality check.

OH, by the way, PRESIDENT BUSH 41 joined the Air Force at the tender age of 17 (he lied about his age to protect your ass), so he could fly in WWII so your ass could be free in this USA. What have you done to reinforce any of our freedoms?

There are two sides to every issue. IMO, Bush had many more positives than negatives.... honesty, decenty, integrity, morals, convictions, duty to his country, and he raised some of the finest children who have served our country well. What have YOU done for your country... besides btch?????

Must agree that Bush 41 (and Bush 43) was more liberal than my personal leanings, but why do I drive the agenda? His leanings, IMO, are more in line with the majority of citizens in this country, perhaps. I will repeat....I'm MORE conservative than Bush and ALL presidents in my lifetime, but I'm also hopefully, a realist, considering who is electable.
