Gore Plans Bolder Race in 2004 — if He Runs

Former Vice President Al Gore, as he nears a decision on whether to seek the presidency again, has begun formulating plans for a possible campaign that would be much more informal in style and more ambitious in its ideas than his unsuccessful race in 2000.
he would "do it in a very different way" by devoting most of his time to small meetings and "relaxed conversations" with individuals and families. And he said he would offer bolder ideas, like his recent endorsement of a single-payer system that would fundamentally restructure health care in America.
Indeed, it appears that if Gore runs, he is planning a campaign that would look more like an insurgency than the well-funded behemoth typical of the candidate leading in the polls.

No way will I register with this rag.
So tell me, Is Gore going the Hillary Clinton "listening tour" route this time? You know, small groups, questioners and questions approved in advance, etc.?

Yep, Gore will be bolder, this time when he loses Jesse Jackson will launch the race war on the spot !

I copied the only important things in this article, so you don't have to register with LA Times. Yes, the good old listening tour.
Just a note. I had a research company call me about my newspaper habits. I bashed the LA Times big time. At the end of the "survey" I'm pretty sure he was from the LA Times. I even had the interviewer laughing about my criticism. It was great. He got my message that they were way too left.

Being that it was his stance on social issues that defeated him in 2000, I hope he gets "bolder" in 2004.
In fact, I hope his campaign is straight out of his 1992 book Earth In The Balance.

I think Gore has really burned bridges with the media. He and Tipper promised big news/scoops for them if they plugged their new books. Well, his books are out but Gore really has had nothing new to say other than attack Bush and say that he felt he won in 2000. It's the same old Gore and he doesn't even have the guts to criticize Clinton.

The Hildabeast doesn't think the Gorebatross is a shoo-in for the nomination. She would have plumped for him if she believed it was his for the asking last night on Hardball. It seems Algore has skeptics to win over and a lot of them are in his own party as to his continued political viability. His latest reinvention may not be his ticket back to Pennyslvania Avenue and the Oval Office in 2004.

Not only that but he bowed and scraped before Hillary just before she blew him off.

I would advise against cut-and-pasting LA Times articles.
JimRob has been sued for this practice!

Oh, I can hardly contain myself.

It says in the article that he's been out promoting "the release of a new book on American families coauthored with his wife, Tipper".
What a gripping read that must be.
The book could have its uses, though. As required reading in punishment cells in penitentiaries. Could help to keep the prison-violence down.

Does this mean that Al will actually dress himself, or will Naomi Wolfe still be doing that?
