Thats going to be part of the next democratic mantra of some sort, Bill Maher has a new book out about citizen sacrifices during war time....My prediction is that they are going to pull out the old JFK card, and base their message on ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country thing, except turn the phrase upside down on its head buy saying we need new taxes for the poor because the war sucking it up or some bullshit, that will be the logic and thats what we can do to sacrifice, mark my words...It will be the new old theme to build up for a hand out drive.

Joan Didion (Political Fictions) had it about right when she indicted the fakery of access journalism practiced by vacant politicos like the clintons, whom she sees as "purveyors of fables of their own making, or worse, fables conceived by political strategists with designs on votes, not news."

Let the shrill, noxious, banal, over-coached screamer be a Democrat front 'man.' (Her equating of LOUD with presidential reveals her injudiciousness and should be an automatic disqualifier for any leadership position, in my view....)

Notwithstanding these defects, don't the dems see the harpy's obvious limitation?...I mean... playing only in friendly venues and to "packed audiences" does not a majority make...

The Democrat theory here, I suppose, is that merely broadcasting her cozy clintonoid interviews of the Colmes kind will convert the ignorant, pliable masses.

They underestimate both the people and her repugnance.

I suspect most of the Democrats are aware of all of the above and would, therefore, love to erase the name "clinton" from the history of the Democrat party...and from the people's collective memory...
