Looks like Ms. Gulch left Kansas, moved to Minnesota, and reproduced.

If Norm had stayed a Democrat, would the Repukes have accused Norm of being a "little light in the loafers"? Just asking.

Likely not. They didn't say that about Jim McGreevey when he ran for governor of New Jersey.

But thanks for asking.

Why is a Brit like you so interested in American politics?

Much of my family lives in the USA, and for a brief time I lived in Washington DC - and it's fascinating in and of itself.

Regards, Ivan

Is that the meaning of the phrase, "interesting family situation"? That he's gay? I assumed GK was simply insinuating infidelity. Any Minnesotans know the basis (if any) for Kiellor's veiled libel?

Gee, maybe the ugly, no-talent loser will leave the USA! AGAIN!!

Now there's a pleasant thought! Maybe he could take Alex Baldwin with him.

Well-concealed smugness and mean-spirited-ness--FER SURE! Keillor's Vitreol (a new brand of Lake Wobegon laxative) does not deserve the brilliant and kind review he got.

Michael Barone knows Lake Wobegon better than Keillor does. He pointed out before the election that there were many new suburbs in the iron region around Duluth which are predominantly inhabited by young Christian couples and the towns are so new that they have no voting patterns. He saw this coming and even called them "Lake Wobegon".

To call Coleman voters "low rent" after that vulgar memorial service is immature, shallow, and stupid. I don't think that either the priest or Lutheran minister (who got schnookered out of his trip to Orlando) would have condoned services like that. And I know that Lena would not have brought out her jello dessert for any group that behaved that badly in public.

It's Keillor who has turned "low rent"--Funny how his "characters" have more "character" than he does!

By the way, have you seen Keillor lately? Would somebody please buy that man a nose! It must be growing backward into his brain because it's sure not even holding up his glasses anymore.

This was THE subject on talk radio Weds. morning. It seems Norms wife is in hollywood trying to make it in the movies. The assumtion is that one or both of them is being unfaithful. After much discussion it was decided that it was all a large pile of male bovine excrement.

Personally speaking if it was my being talked about like that I'd introduce Mr. Keillor to Mr. baseball bat...repeatedly.

WOW! Fabulous comparison between Anderson and Keillor. You just gave my 11th-grade son a theme for his final analysis of Anderson's book. Even Sinclair Lewis with his overt satire of small-town life was not as cynical as either Keillor or Anderson.

"I come from a small town in Oklahoma"

Me too - Hooker, Oklahoma to be exact.

Uh Oh. If Norm does that, no telling who Jesse will pick to replace him.
