The issue isn't if lingerie should be illegal. (Obviously not)

The issue is that this is going to be aired on network TV at 9pm.

"The issue is that this is going to be aired on network TV at 9pm."

Perhaps you would care to elaborate?

I dont allow my child to watch the local news.I allow her to see some programs I approve of, and make her change the channel or turn off the TV if there is nothing I want her to view showing. I do not have cable TV, and have about 6 channels to choose from.

I caught a few minutes of last years show.I am certain many people had an entirely different reactions, but I was proud of the KMA attitude displayed by some of the most beautifull women in the world.I kept thinking Burkha, or those women.

I am not offended by the display, which I thought tastefully done for what it was, basically a very expensive commercial.I did not feel debased.I have exactly the same "equipment" as those women, I just dont display or maintain it to those levels anymore, if I ever did.But wearing lingere in spike heels is normal, and most women in the USA do so privately with husbands or boyfriends.I dont see a problem.I am infinately more offended by veiled Islamic women in public, in the USA, and what they represent.

So? Some of the daytime soaps are pretty bad, and those are shown in the middle of the day. What about all these teenage girls that go around the malls with jeans that are so low that their butt cracks are almost showing? If people are offended by what's on TV, they can always change the channel, surf the net, or read a book.

Horse hockey. With a 200+ cable channel universe (and even if you don't have cable/satellite, you've got at least the four major networks plus PBS to choose from), this is ridiculous.

And finally, in the event your television's tuner is broken and stuck on CBS (heaven forbid!!), there's always the other knob on the television: The OFF switch.

That being the case, the protestors truly need to stop trying to tell me what I can and cannot watch. I am at least intelligent enough to make that decision for myself and my family.
