Useless? Why? Because she did not (choose one of the following):

1. "connect the dots" that you are going to outline for us
2. is a woman

That there were a strong possibility of a terrorist attack that late summer.

That Al Qaeda was involved with the USS Cole, 1993 WTC bombing, embassey bombings, suspicious activity being monitored by the FBI, suspicious activity being monitored by the CIA, also terrorist attempts actually stopped.

Ensuring that the CIA and the FBI were working closely and intensely on the situation.

Warning the airlines to beef up security.
