Gore is going to run. Gore is going to be defeated.

Gore is going to occupy the Adlai Stevenson chair in the Democratic College of Hard Knocks.

I'm still undecided," Googel says. "I need more time and information about what he (Gore) stands for."

Ya, we know what ya mean. Which Algore is going to be the candidate this time? This is pathetic that the people that voted for him last time don't even know what he stands for.

Which Gore will run in 2004?

The bearded Al? The heavyset Al? The business-suit Al? The earth-tone Al?

Enquire-ing minds want to know.

...a "fresh face" with some appeal in the South, perhaps North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, would be a bigger threat to Bush's re-election.

Bullsh*t. John Edwards has no "appeal" in the South outside of the trial lawyer community. I have no idea how he got elected in NC but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to discover he ran as a "new Democrat" promising to be "more moderate."

He's a sleazy bit of slime, a shyster who LOOKS like a Shyster, and next to Mr. Sincerity, Pres. George W. Bush, he would be seen for exactly that.

Remember that the Dems here in Texas decided to put up a "dream team" of "appealing" candidates and got nowhere.

We'll see just how far Edwards goes if he's nominated.

"Gore is going to run. Gore is going to be defeated."

Yup. It's a 100% certainty, barring something like a car wreck or an illness. And he will most certainly lose, and by a wide, wide margin.

The Dems privately admit that they don't have a prayer of winning the WH in "aught-4" and they don't want to tarnish anyone with the defeat who isn't already dead meat. And Forrest Gore is such a stultifyingly dense dummy that he'll be the whipping boy again.

There may be congressional and Senatorial contests in the next few years, but the Dems aren't even looking seriously at the WH until 08. It'll take them at least that long to get their acts together.

If someone can credibly make a statement like "I want to know what Al Gore stands for," Gore's finished before he starts.

The DemocRATs will bide their time until early 2004. If President Bush is still riding high in the polls, they will give the nomination to Algore as a sacrificial lamb. And get rid of him for all time.

But among many of the Democratic voters who will dominate the 2004 primaries, the view of Gore is more favorable, he says. For them, "He is the guy who beat Bush last time and deserves another shot."

This is precious - it's really great news. The Demo/Commies have invested so much effort and invective in pushing the lie that Gore actually beat Bush in the last election that now it's going to come back to haunt them, as the dumbed-down rank and file that is the core of their party's voting strength (other than the dead voters, that is) actually believes the lie and propels Gore to the head of the pack during the primaries. That, of course, to be followed by Gore being shellacked on election day. Unless there is a really high turnout by dead voters on election day.

Prediction 1: Algore will win the primaries and be nominated for President at the Democratic National Convention in 2004

Prediction 2: Algore will not be the Democratic Presidential Candidate in November 2004

Anybody who thinks that these two predictions are contradictory has not been paying attention.

Algore could have another entire re-make. You never know. He is still trying to find himself.

Click on book.

Dick Morris and Bill Clinton are enjoying some scotch and Cuban cigars, looking out at the Manhattan skyline. Al Gore sits quietly on the floor in the corner, playing with a string of saliva that hangs from his lower lip.
CLINTON: This one's dead in the water, isn't it Dick? Maybe it's a good time for a visit to Fort Marcy, or a stormy flight to Croatia...
MORRIS: Oh I don't know Bill, we might have something to work with there.. We've just got to get him to sprinkle his mindless blather with multiple "for the children" and "the American people" type phrases. That goes a long way. We'll drill those phrases into his head. He's pretty good at repeating... right Albert?
GORE: Good at repeating... excellent repeater... no controlling legal authority... no controlling legal authority... repeat phrase...
CLINTON: Let's ask him some questions.
Morris and Clinton walk over and stand over Albert.
MORRIS: Albert. I'm going to ask you a number of questions, OK?
GORE: Risky scheme... risky scheme...
CLINTON: Don't worry Albert, there's no press here. It's just us.
MORRIS: Albert, do you remember that war in Kosovo?
GORE: Boom... blow up Sadam... Sadam's no good... evil Sadam
CLINTON: We're doomed. What the hell is wrong with him?
MORRIS: Well have you ever heard the term "idiot savant"?
CLINTON: Yeah. Idiot savants are really stupid people who, for some reason have startling abilities in math, music, or some other highly specialized area.
MORRIS: Exactly. Lacking that "startling ability" you mentioned, Albert is what we like to call an "idiot idiot." Still, he does repeat things well. Let's start filling that head of his...
CLINTON: William Jefferson Clinton is one of America's greatest presidents.
GORE: One of America's greatest presidents... Bill Clinton... great president... we'll dump the body in the park... wrap it up in the bloody rug... dump the body...
MORRIS: We'll work on making him forget some things he's heard too.
CLINTON: Obviously.

Gore is going to run. Gore is going to be defeated.

Gore is going to occupy the Adlai Stevenson chair in the Democratic College of Hard Knocks.

You hit the nail on the head, CT.

Gore is Stevenson to Bush's Ike.

The paralells are eerie.

Gore represented the intellectual elite of the Democratic Party, as Stevenson did before him. You will recall Stevenson's response when told by an admirer that he had the support of all the thinking people in America, "Yes, but I need a majority."

It is the kind of attitude that is laced with a sense of moral and intellectual superiority. It leads to a conviction that the elite exist to tell those who are not in the elite what to do with their lives. That's what Al Gore and his people are really all about.

Bush is Ike without the war record. Plainspoken, indeed, Bush often mangles his syntax, this President uses a deliberate strategy of deception to communicate past the Democrats and their handmaidens in the media directly to the people.

Bush succeeds in greatest part because people trust Bush with awesome responsibilities, and they like him.

And one last thing that Bush does that the Tator has highlighted again and again. He figures out what the people want done and proceeds to do it. That's why he wins.

Once again, kudos to the Tator for getting straight to the point....

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Gore is leftover liver, no one wants it, but he sure stinks up the fridge. The longer the DNC lets Gore go on and on about "Single Payer" health plans, and doubtless he will continue to make awkward, idiotic, and unsupportable remarks in criticism of Bush's leadership in the War on Terror, the harder it will be to molify their ultra leftist base, and the more votes Nader will take from them next time.

To have any chance of ever regaining power, the Democrat Party must completely re-write its very soul; it must repudiate most or all of the failed policies and ideology that burden it now and condemn it to the political wilderness. But, don't hold your breath until they reach that conclusion.

The future looks bleak for the Democrats because it IS bleak; they have successfully brainwashed their base into supporting an ideology that an ever increasing majority is rejecting. And Gore's response will be to take them right off the left cliff like a bunch of lemmings.

It took a criminal mind like Clinton's to steal the presidency back for the Dems by lying, cheating, and vote fraud. But now we know the Clinton's MO, and it sure doesn't seem to be working and won't again in 2004, god willing.
