Nothing cruises the Interstate quite as smoothly as the Chevy Caprice. Quiet, plenty of power, lots of room. However, the warranty is 60,000 miles, and that's exactly where things start falling off the vehicle.

However, the warranty is 60,000 miles, and that's exactly where things start falling off the vehicle. That's exactly right. My 1999 GMC Yukon just turned over 63,000 miles and the transmission went out. It's in the shop now and costing right at $1,800. Won't be buying another GMC product ever again (had a Chevy Suburban that did the same thing). Thinking of trying Ford or Dodge next.

Hmm... mine's got almost 80,000 and no problems yet. Then again, it's an '86. What year's yours?
