I have tried to watch Phil on MSNBC. Really, I have. As a young mother in '78 to early 1980's, I really liked his daytime show. He had on interesting guests and talked about things that were pertinent to my stage in life. This gave way to Sesame St and Mr Rogers and I hadn't seen him in years. What the heck happened?

I do watch Chris Matthews, because I think he is an old fashioned democrat (like I used to be), not a leftist nut. I know he talks a mile a minute, which can be annoying, but, I don't think he interrupts any more than O'Reilly or H&C. I really don't like Hannity & Colmes. Sean comes across as pompous to me, and I can't stand Colmes.

Nachman was one of their better shows, and they shoved him to the 5 o'clock time slot and left Donohue at 8? Pretty stupid IMO.

I wish they had left Brian Williams News on instead of deep sixing him over to CNBC.

They should re-run Imus in primetime - but Imus is so pro-Bush, that it would drive the die hard libs crazy.

I noticed yesterday that Fox News has snagged another MSNBC reporter: Greg Jarrett.

''I want to be a player.'' By September, with his program virtually ignored by cable audiences, he was telling MSNBC's Jerry Nachman that unless he made ''noise'' by January, he'd be out.

Listen to him make out like it's his decision. I find this hard to believe.

Wow, there's a real braintrust operating at MSNBC. Let's see now, the Republicans sweep the elections, Democrats are in disarray, conservative leaning Fox News with a much smaller subscriber base is kicking butt in the ratings and what does MSNBC do to counteract this (he asks rhetorically...)? They put on a left-as-you-can-get liberal retread . What a great idea!

Get the hook!

Can't some soon enough... I have never seen anyone who is more annoying. With his condescend-speak and hand gestures, I am quite sure that if he spoke to me like that I would not be able to overcome the impulse to poke his eyes out.

Loved it when Chris Matthews was on Donahue's show. Say what you want about Matthews, but he couldn't not contain his disdain for Donahue. When Donahue got in his face, he laughed outright at his ridiculous over-acting and it was quite amusing.

Darn. And the major talk show hosts didn't ever use my nickname for him:

"Phil Donkey-doo."

So they fired the venerable Alan Keyes for this schmuck? And after three months he will be gone? How lame.

Bring back Keyes! To hell with the pro-Arab lobby.

If Donahue gets the ax, it'll be the strongest indication yet that star power alone doesn't make you a hit on cable...

Of course, they won't mention the obvious:

Perhaps it's the strongest indication that the vast majority of the country really isn't interested in listening to a sniveling, self-serving, self-aggrandizing, simpering, sniveling, drooling, wide-eyed, raving leftist lunatic rant and rave about what the little voices in his head tell him.
