Please explain exactly what happened with this election. Was it close?, did the dems scream for a re-count, as 'every vote did not count'? Did the good folks of La. wake up to the fact that the democratic party is no longer the same as in the Kennedy era? The state is very catholic and used to vote democrat for the pro life/ morals issue-did they wake-up?

I have not been aware of the facts of the La. situation... obviously from my last post. I really have no clue as to what happened. When will this election be final, in La.?
