I think it's a plausible assumption that we've got something even more strategically effective now. I agree...it's quite plausible. I'll admit that the MX holds a bit of sentimental value to me (strange as that may sound). I connect its deployment with my favorite President (Ronald Reagan), and with the time in my life I was just starting to get into politics. Reagan's push for the MX also played no small part in bankrupting the Soviet Union and ending the Cold War.
