I agree with #8. Reading some of the articles in the local papers you would think the Kalifornia budget deficit just came out of the blue. No mention of the total responsability of the DemocaRATic in this. Next thing you know it will be poor ole Red Davis trying to balance a budget that he inherited. Parley

That seems to be these fishwraps goal is to make the budget problem appear to be a really new problem. It ain't new. It was started 3 years ago by the perverts who control the Kali Legislature.

Also, omitted in most of these articles is the fact that we had a surplus of 12 to 14 billion before these deficits hit. So the problem is bigger that they admit to, and there is no surplus to help defray their drugged out spending habits.

My (Undying Liberal) sister-in-law is already steadfastly convinced the deficit is not Red Davis' fault. She insists he inherited all the fiscal problems from Pete Wilson. No amount of reasoning or facts can convince her otherwise. She just insists all the louder!

So, maybe Red Davis has a chance after all?
