Somebody help me out here. Didn't Woodward manage to get an exclusive death-bed confession from Poindexter or something? Poindexter's still alive. It was William Casey, ex-CIA chief.

Casey! That's right. Thanks.

Let's not forget that episode of Nightline where Koppel tore his " Casey interview" line of crap to shreds. Woodward is a proven liar and anyone who believes anything he writes is a fool.

While Casey was either near comatose, or actually in a coma. Guarded by his wife and his SS.
Woodward makes it up...starting with 'Deep Throats'.
He's made a lot of money fictionalizing history.

It was William Casey, ex-CIA chief.Good memory ... Bob Woodward has an amazing ability to scale hospital walls (Spiderman?) to get death bed confessions ... while family members of the soon to be deceased, who are at the foot of the bed, are unaware of his presence. Not to mention the fact that the dying patient hasn't uttered a coherent word in weeks.
