The speculation has always been that they were killed because they stumbled upon a drug-smuggling operation from Mena Airport while out walking one evening. Clinton, who was governor of Arkansas at the time, was heavily involved in the smuggling operation.

I cannot imagine that this case will ever be solved, since clinton, the CIA, and the Dixie Mafia were all probably involved in it. A sad business. At least Vincent Foster and Ron Brown were adults, who got involved with clinton with considerable knowledge of what they were getting into.
