Remarkably, Gore seems to have gotten past the bitter defeat.

You could have fooled me. Two years after the the fact, he's still whining.

Bush would have returned to Crawford and been quiet.

He wouldn't have written a sappy book about family, and he wouldn't be replaying the election via election appearances and TV interviews.

That is a very good point, and should be its own thread!!!!!

It should be obvious to Bush detractors now as you pointed out:

To Bush, it is about serving

To Gore, it is about power and control.

President Bush is serving the American people, and quite well. We haven't had a man like this in quite some time.

God have mercy on us that we never have a person like Gore or Clinton as leaders, ever again.
