It was a true grassroots effort on the part of many Americans that went to protest Al Gore at the VP mansion. "And if you research the archives, you'll find out it was all my idea in the first place," a meek and humble Fred Mertz adds.

If there were counter-protests, then the press would be forced to cover it. Don't count on it. Their bias doesn't have a ethical bottom. I have seen them concentrate on Left-wing protest and causes and totally ignore those of the right even when they were larger in crowd size. Remember, big media doesn't have to lie, they get to choose what you the viewer sees, and can manipulate the news by only showing the side they agree with.

No, the chant was "Get out of Cheney's house." Has a nice rhythm to it.

And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the
the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. I certainly hope the RNC is taping this interview for future commercial use.
Gee how shocking, a democrat admitting that racial manipulation for democratic gain goes on .......

KARENNA GORE: Well, when we were in the Vice President's house during the recount, it was it was very intense . . . . it was definitely Bush-campaign-oriented effort to bus in people to have a sort of siege at the Vice President's house.
Weird. She calls her dad "the Vice President." Does this remind anyone else of Chad Condit constantly referring to his dad as "Gary Condit" or "Gary?"
Democrat spawn give me the creeps.

Hell, even Jesse Jackson got the message and shutup for a change. Johnnie Cochran must have been on vacation.

The one thing that, that they did mainly was reach the bedrooms of our children, and Albert was still in school locally, and trying to study, so we rearranged, you know, they
I love that line! They trying to make believe young Albert was some innocent schoolboy.
Theyre attempt to make a child of him reminds me of the old Stinky character on The Abbott and Costello Show. The big grown man in schoolboy shorts, a frilly shirt and hat, and a giant lollypop.
If you dont stop protesting my daddy, Ill give you suuuuuuch a pinch!

Here is a great anecdote:
I was in the car in Orange County, listening to talk radio of course, when the Supreme Court ruling came down. Very shortly thereafter, Algore decided to concede. ABC news came on and they had a clip of him talking about his Christmas party that evening. (Paraphrase) "For those coming to the party tonight who can't remember my house, just go the the end of the block where they are chanting 'Get out of Cheney's house'."

My bet is that it was Jesse Jackson and Donna Brazile. Oh, without a doubt.
There was a counter-protest by the REVverrrend JACKssonnn somewhere in Florida that fizzled, too, IIRC. Hmmm... more "dogs" called off?
To: Fred Mertz
Yea, that's the ticket.
VOC is ticked about this article. He may actually weigh in here.
