I was hoping the President would stay away from this one. He has had a cordial relationship with Senators Breaux and Landrieu and I believe he will look like a spoiler either way.

Re-election rates are much higher than 50-50. Landrieu should be favored at least about 55-45 or 60-40 to win. She isn't though.
