I have a suggestion. Hows about a 30 to 180 day moritorium on all federal taxes, IRS & witholding, just for individuals ?

Consumers need a breather before they are going to start sprinting again.

It's either this or bring mortgages down below 4% like Greenpuff suggests. This will make homeowners rich, affluent and ready to take advantage. I always wanted a Lamborghini.

That would be a good idea if it ended a month before the election so workers could see the rape of their wages.

I really get bummed when I hear homeowners tapping their equity. Nothing builds more wealth for most citizens than their homes.

And your plan has a fringe benefit: merely proposing it would give Ted Kennedy a heart attack.

No. Consumers need to live within their means, including RESPONSIBLE use of credit.
