What's wrong with getting a Veteran's check and congressional retirement? He earned both fairly, at different times. That's not double dipping. Double dipping is when you have two different jobs at the same time, both supposedly full time jobs. He hasn't done that.

What I really like about FR is most of the posts are so well written. Most people actually punctuate clauses, use subordination, and even capitalize, where appropriate. They almost never over use ellipsis. I could almost swear most Freepers have either memorized The Little, Brown Book or they have a copy next to their computers.
