The point of his post is that Wlat is a troll. In fact, he goes beyond mere trolling. His series of posts is more like chumming. That's a fishing technique in which you ladle out buckets of smelly fish guts behind the boat, to attract sharks. Think of Wlat's posts as a bucket of smelly, half rotten fish entrails. Ignore them. They aren't worth it.

He had his clock cleaned by a poster (handle of something like Who is John Galt) who had actual sourced historical facts to crush his innuendo and opinion. It was fun to watch. I'm sure it will happen again soon, too.
Like you said, though, the best thing to do is ignore the boy.
