Although industrial strength paper towels ARE available at the kiosk in the hall for a small fee.

Marxist apartment? This was how we lived in our off-campus apartment. The way it worked was the dishes piled up in the sink until there weren't any more left in the cabinets. Then someone
had to do the dishes.
But then we got wise and only washed the dishes that we needed, leaving the rest in the sink.
The cockroaches loved this system.
