It's my understanding he cannot do both, run for POTUS and run for Senate........can anybody confirm that?

Last I knew, NC law did allow a candidate to run for more than one office, but the Republicans in the state legislature were drafting legislation that would change that (specifically because of Edwards). I haven't read anything about it recently.
