I'm almost surprised Disney isn't doing this. The story certainly is 'Disnified'. Oh, and Muhammad will not actually be seen in the movie, in accordance with Islamic law.

Obviously, these people didn't hear about Joseph Smith yet. =)
Elder Kimball, can you please issue a proclamation explaining the origins of "Mohammedism"?

I take it then that this "meticulous attention to accuracy in an enviroment of first-class animation" will include Muhammad's consumation with his eight- or nine-year old wife Aesha?
Wonder how that will be taken worldwide...

On the plus side, it won't have an awful Mariah Carey / Whitney Houston duet like Prince of Egypt.

I wonder if the movie will show some scenes about Muhammed and his men attacking trading caravans, and ordering the deaths of hundreds of people in Mecca.
Probably not.

Not in American soil, it must not be shown. The wicked fairy tell, the farce should not be aired anywhere. Saudi Arabia does not want to consume McDonalds and America does not want to consume lies.

I hadn't heard about this film until I saw some hype for it on
http://www.aintitcoolnews.com
Harry Knowles even posted a disclaimer that he would not tolerate hate speech in his talk back forums for this film. Of course anti-Christian hate speech on the site is permitted as is anti-conservative/right winger talk.
I triumphed over Harry in all my votes for Texas politicians last week too.
He needs to stick to what he knows, hanging around and hyping Peter Jackson and Quentin Tarantino projects and leave the political discussions to more informed forums.
I've posted my comments on this project to the other FR thread.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Where is it written that the aforementioned Prophet is the last and final Prophet? Viewed from the outside, it seems like a most illogical statement.
