Like an idiot, I was walking in north Columbus, OH when the storm hit. The rain was driving sideways. My back was soaked through and my front completely dry. I ducked into a McDonalds when the hail hit for several minutes.
I was oblivious to the extreme weather just north of Columbus. The northern surrounding counties were all under Tornado Warnings. I was very lucky that the extreme weather angled just a few miles north of me.
