Friends -
Thank you so much for your support and friendship during my campaign. I couldn't have done it without your help.
I know you are disappointed with the outcome of the race, but rest assured that we ran a good campaign, and discussed important issues that affect Florida's families. We drew national attention to the outrageous cost of prescription drugs. We focused on preserving - not privatizing - Social Security, and on ways to shore up our retirement security. We looked at the Everglades and ways to save this unique national treasure. And we talked about the need to build more schools to lower class sizes so Florida's students are better prepared to learn.
I am proud of my many years of service to Palm Beach County, and what we as a community have achieved. Our track record is solid, and our accomplishments are many. South Florida is my home, and I intend to continue to speak up on the issues that matter to us.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you.
All the best -
Carol

Only pure RAT arrogance and stupidity would go up against E Clay Shaw, a gentleman and a patriot.

Wasn't that the name of a character from Oliver Stone's film "JFK"?
He does his best fiction when he thinks he's telling the truth.

Oliver Stone's version of truth has had too many hits on the bong, too many bull sessions with Bill Clinton, too many trips down an acid influenced memory lane with Timothy Leary.
He's a typical baby boom worthless bastard hippie who worked so bloody hard to destroy the clean, beautiful world of the 1950's and succeeded.
