If the brothers had taken their abusive family members out onto that football field then the story might be pertinent. Their victims were innocent strangers so the story is irrelevant to everyone but the sob sisters.

There are many people who have grown into 'throw-away' adults; and despite whatever nourished their psyches; they deserve the rewards of Justice for their choices.

I'm sick and tired of excuses for crime. When will a person ever take responsibility for their own actions???? It's always someone or something else's fault. Sickening. As an abused child myself, I, nor any of my siblings has ever even thought of anything like this!

the only thing this shows me is how bleeped up the brothers were from the beginning.

The people around them were depraved too, but sadly that's just the way black inner city culture is. If you want something, whether its sex, or someone else's money you just take it. If you don't like something someone does you deal with them violently. If you want to live on welfare and get high all day, or be an able bodied young man hanging out with friends on the street corner instead of working, or drink till drunk with little kids, hey so what?

Entitlement, envy, covetousness, no respect for others, if it feels good do it, and an "its always someone else's fault" mentality, these are the cultural norms in black inner cities.

And until the people that comprise that culture are ready to take a serious look at themselves and change it, it will continue to turn out miscreants like these in large numbers.
