Another highly underrated VN movie is "The Siege of Firebase Gloria."   Based on a true story, the tactics and action are highly realistic.  R. Lee Ermey is the leading character and does this part flawlessly.

"The Siege of Firebase Gloria." I watched this movie as a required part of Marine Corps OCS PLC training. It is not forgotten by those who were there, I don't think.

You're right. Excellent Vietnam War movie. Highly underrated. In the same league as "Hamburger Hill".
