With the GOP now controlling the state legislature, do we get to take a second look at re-districting? Yes. The previous Leg failed to pass a Congressional redistricting bill. The current boundaries were drawn up by a judge as an interim measure. The current Leg can draw up new boundaries, and should. If they get no traction in the normal session, Gov. Perry should call a special session just for that.

Any talk of rescinding the Robin Hood law? I'm tired of paying humongous school taxes, part of which are going to other districts that may be "poor" because of poor management or fraud. (My 2002 school tax is more than $2200--THAT'S NEARLY $200 A MONTH!!!!)
