Source Says Hillary Doesn't Think She Could Win In 2004 Thu Nov 07 2002 09:52:53 ET

In opinion polls, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has placed second only to Mr. Gore as the candidate whom Democrats would most support for president, the NEW YORK TIMES and Katharine Seelye reported on Thursday.

But one person close to Senator Clinton said she was adamant about not running in 2004 and that her negative ratings were still too high to venture out now.

Moreover, he said, her values were probably too liberal for the rest of the country.

'We need a candidate who can, without compromising the essence of who we are, reach across the values divide, which is the divide that sunk us yesterday, and I'm not sure she can do that,' this Democrat said. 'I have no doubt she's planning to run in 2008. That's the plan and they'll stick to it, especially if they think 2004 is a loser.'"

You know, after a decade of studying these creatures, I have just noticed that she has man hands.

John F. Kerry [snicker] is decidedly to the left of center -- against all military action (except when initiated by a fellow 'rat) and Edwards has revealed himself to be quite dumb and lacking depth. Notice how he hasn't been on the political talk shows in a looooong time?

Add Michigan(home of the super liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow, Senator Carl Levin and Governor Jennifer Ghaholm) to the list of states guaranteed to go to Hillary in 2008. Hillary has no chance of losing California, Hawaii, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachussetts, Connecticut, New York, etc. which is nearly 200 electoral votes, and she has not even begun campaigning yet. Hillary will chose a moderate to conservative running mate to win the swing states. Lastly, by 2008, enough asian and latin immigrants will be in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona to easily put her over the top. There is almost no way anyone can get enough other states to win against her. 77 posted on 11/07/2002 4:26 PM PST by waterstraat [ Post Reply

BS

Then tell us exactly why the People of Kalifornia, Michigan, Massachussets, Illinois, etc will vote "against" hillary? Tell us why you think they will become conservative in 6 years? Tell us why then the people who voted for Levin, Stabenaw, Grahmhold, Barbera Boxer, Davis, Kennedy, will not vote for hillary ?

Her time is limited, and she must run ASAP. She'll try like he11 to run in '04.

Not to mention, she...uh...IT...will be 60 years old by 2008. A little long in the tooth for someone who allegedly has such appeal to "young" voters.

She can't take Bush, she knows that...

I totally disagree. I think that she is arrogant, self-absorbed and politically stupid enough to believe that she can beat poor, stupid, right-wing hick Bush.

Remember, she thinks that she and her equally dopey socialist pals are smarter than we are and know better how to run our lives, spend our money and raise our children than we do.

They will, it's just not near enough.

Hill represents the the opposite direction the country has been going for the last 4 years. It's wise to be very alert to threats to our freedoms like Hill, but the threat has been reduced to a yellow in Hill's case.

My friends, here is the rub:

Hitlery believes that she will be the first woman President of the United States of America.

She is a thief, an adulteress, a lesbian, a traitor, a would-be felon if anyone had the balls to indict her, a mean, vicious, ugly, person who has taken bribes, obstructed justice, destroyed evidence, and directed the murder of several individuals. In other words, a perfect Democrat candidate for President.

Unfortunately for this transgendered moron, she has a surprise coming. She knows she can't possibly beat Bush in '04, so she has to wait until '08 to run.

Now catch this irony. Hitlery's competition in '08 turns out NOT ONLY to be a woman, but a black woman on top of that. Hitlery is beaten in a LANDSLIDE as the first Black and first Woman President, Condeleeza Rice beat the shit out of her. And believe me, beating the shit out of Hitlery is one hell of a long job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your post reminds of my favorite line so far in the post-election press, from a Canadian newspaper columnist, Margaret Wente…

“It is a dark day for those who despise George W. Bush. Just last Monday, they could still take comfort that he was a rich, dumb Texas cowboy who stole the 2000 election, got fewer votes than the other guy, and didn't have a mandate from the people.

He's got his mandate now. If this man is stupid, where can I get stupid pills?”

"Reminds me of an old Ray Milland movie! Can't remember the name of it..."

It was either:
"The Man with the X-Ray Eyes"
or
"The Man with Hillary's Thighs"

In either case a good premise for plucking those suckers out!

Best wishes,

You maybe right and I hope you are right in this case...

My feeling is the GOP Voters will remember her as she was in the '90's and Rally so hard against her she will be "Damaged Goods", In 2008 alot of the fever will be gone by then. But you Live Up There, I don't......,So I trust your Gut as well......

I think you have California mixed up with the Gay Area (SF) and LA. The rest of the state is rather refreshingly conservative. Hitlary is hated here as much as it is in the heartland.

Best wishes from the good part of the state!

Gore won all those liberal states (CA, NY, MI, etc.)and so will ANY Rat that runs. No way Hill wins Texas. Bill Clinton lost TX twice. I doubt Hill would be able to win some of the valuable midwest states that Gore won. To me the real swing state is Florida. I think Jeb's re-election is good news for Pubs. This may be mute though since I really don't expect Hill can win the Rat nomination.

Thanks, GD. I think it was the first. I'm not sure Hillary was born then. I'm not sure she was ever born, just created by a Dr. Frankenstein to annoy the living daylights out of the US at this time.
