Though another stupid Liberal, it will be interesting to see how much of this person's advice will be taken. I dont think the Dems are listening at all.

What bothers me about this post as well as the media coverage is that they are all asking "What did the Democrats do wrong?". What that is really saying is, "There is no way the people of this country would elect Republicans so the Democrats must have screwed up." While I will agree that the Democrats could have run a better campaign, I reject the underlying premise.
My recollection of the 2000 congressional election is that the media was celebrating a Democrat victory rather than wringing their hands that the Republicans must have done something wrong.

I agree with you, the premise is wrong.
However, we cant really expect the media to tell the truth about it. They are in a traumatic shock right now.
It is so fun to watch them. I dont think I have ever watched so much CSPAN.

Another IDIOT RAT!! Blaming EVERYONE else BUT KKKlinton!! KKKlinton is a cancer to their party! Hell would freeze over before they would admit that BUBBA and HITLERY are the source of their DEFEAT!!
To: BuddhaBoy
Another thing. Can somebody please tell Barbra Streisand that if she wants to help the party to send a check and shut the hell up? They have lived by the celebrity, now they shall die by the celebrity. Finally, I agree with the left on something, Babs should shut-up.

"The White House was able to quietly send Pitt packing just after the polls closed on election night and I never heard a Democrat mention his name in the last week when the extent of Pitt's corruption and incompetence became so glaring."
Forgive my ignorance, but is their a rationale for calling Pitt corrupt?

The Clinton/Gore era is over. Sorry - they are not going away for a looooong time.

Pitt is not corrupt, he just had bad judgement in his associations. He was a bit too close to the people his job was to regulate.

Sorry - they are not going away for a looooong time. What are you sorry about? The democrats are doomed to wander in the desert as long as they keep their noses shoved up the you-know-whats of the Clintons. It is going to be very very hard for the 'rats to give these two the heave-ho. It might even take a generational change to make it happen.
The reason is the 'rat's incredible level of intellectual arrogance and inability to admit they are wrong. They can't give Bill and Hillary the heave ho without opening up the entire '90's to question, and for many in power now that entails staring into an abyss.
The Clintons are The Gift That Keeps On Giving!
(steely)
PS: We've still got to watch our back door. Please President Bush, Karl Rove, watch out for scandals!
Scandal is our main vulerability at this point.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that the left is vanquished!

So they want Barbara to give them a check and shut up...can she not exercise her right to free speech?
Sometimes, you gotta "dance with them as brung you." The Democrats have discovered this to their dismay.

Yep, they want the bucks from Brbra and Larry Flynt, but they want the transactions done quietly. They want the oily McOlive to keep bringing in the moolah while a slick, well rehearsed Troy McClure represents them to the public. Sounds like a plan!

The 'rat wants us to believe he's embarassed by Terry McAsshat. I ain't buying. 'Rats don't know from shame.

Nooo. She should run her big mouth as often as possible. We want that face to be pasted on Bushwhackers.

Did we hear anything about layoffs, 401k's or the slimy cesspool that Harvey Pitt made out of the SEC?This guy probably has some good points in this article, but this one isn't one of them. Contrary to what he believes, the SEC is not a "slimy cesspool". Pitt's lack of political acumen was his downfall, and he finally recognized this by virtue of his resignation.
This is simply more political overstatement by the opposition.

If democrats were smart enough to follow this type of advise they wouldn't be the party of losers.
First of all, Terry McAuliffe should be informed that effective immediately and for all time his services will no longer be required. Disappointing election results aside he gives the impression of a sleazy political operative much in the way that noted toe-sucker Dick Morris does. McAuliffe's expertise is supposedly in fund raising. Fine. We need the McAuliffes in the party. We don't need them in front of the camera

LOL:
"And while we're talking about who's going to deliver the party's message maybe we should discuss the desirability of having one."

It's like McAuliffe's selling a bad used car at a high price...
But there's something about McAuliffe that reminds me of someone who's trying to scam someone's granny out of her life savings. I often feel like I need a shower after one of his TV appearances.
