Supporting Suzanne Haik Terrell needs to be as much of a priority for all of us FReepers as supporting this website. Please contribute... Every little bit helps!
We need to keep this thread bumped for all to see.

They kept registration open till 8PM tonight in New Orleans (Landrieu turf) I tried to get my sis to register today but they promptly closed at 4:30.
Typical.

Landrieu will say a few things and repeat them religiously.
1. She'll be independant and not a Bush lackey.
2. She's brought Louisiana lots of money and will continue to do so.
3. Terrell is not a pawn of beltway planners.
Odds are she'll chant the mantra "A senator not a rubber stamp". Of course up till now she's been a "rubber stopper and not a senator". Can anyone name some key things she's done that weren't no-brainers?

Just give us all a reminder on December 6, but I don't think I'll really need one.

I made a comment about it the other day but has anyone else noticed that Landrieu is beefing up?

K, but I don't think you'll need a reminder from me. I expect we'll have many "high profile" visitors between now and December 7th. :)

How about a FReepers victory party in Baton Rouge? How about the Big Easy? :)

The entire country will be watching Louisiana for the next month. Lets do our part to send Mary into retirement and Suzi to Washington.

We win Louisiana, it'll be another pillar of the Dem Solid South coming down. Do you know when the last Louisiana Republican Senator was?
William Kellogg, who finished his term in 1883.

WOW. Thank you. I remembered it was not too long after the war but I didn't know the date or who. We have a chance to make history just like Georgia did last night when they elected a Republican governor. It was 1872 the last time that happened in Georgia.
