I had no problem with a police campaign against "illegally carried" firearms... until I cam to this line: "Encouraging citizens to call police if they know anyone who is carrying a gun or if they spot suspicious activity in their neighborhood." Oh, great, so say someone is carrying a firearm legally (CCW) but someone who knows they are doing so doesn't like them/that fact and calls the gestapo to razz him. just wonderful.
