It figures that they would sneak something like this in election time.
Richard Pearson of the Illinois State Rifle Association called Monday's ruling "ludicrous."
"They are out to wipe out firearms dealers one way or another," he said.

Their agenda is a total ban on guns. They have not been able to achieve that so they try to bankrupt the gunmakers. These lawsuits are an abuse of our legal system and every attorney and political hack that files these cases should be disbarred. They took an oath to uphold the constitution and they are trying to dismantle it.
For good news, watch The Liberty Belles on television Friday. We have an appearance on The Rob Nelson Show. Check your area for times.

Piece by piece they are achieving gun confiscation through successful mass shootings and the sniper shootings.
There's nothing these gun grabbers love more than mass shootings.

This of course came out on election day. This definitely appears as a political manuever. This is Rod Blagojevich's(D)
(govenor elect) baby. So I guess we'll be shooting paper wads at criminals. This is ridiculous.

"The opinion added that a "reasonable trier of fact could find that the criminal misuse of guns to kill persons were occurrences that defendants knew would result or were substantially certain to result from the defendants' alleged conduct here."
Oh, be very, very careful for almost all legal swords are double edged. Hence, automobile makers can be sued under this premise for any death where a car was involved; bath tub makers stand to lose millons from accidential drownings, and wine makes may be sued for the natural consequence of users becoming alcoholics.

The second amendment trumps state law, as I read it. It doesn't limit its scope to the federal government.
If I have that right, it follows that a federal judge should overrule this ruling, if it survives the Illinois supreme court.

The citizens of Chicago will be very upset when all gun manufacturers decide not to sell any guns to Chicago law enforcement agencies and federal agencies located in Chicago.

"In our view," the court wrote, "plaintiff's complaint sufficiently pleads facts that, notwithstanding actual knowledge that the
AUTOMOBILES would be brought into Chicago and used in crimes, the manufacturers, distributors and dealers failed to alter their actions, thereby creating a public nuisance."
The opinion added that a "reasonable trier of fact could find that the criminal misuse of AUTOMOBILES to kill persons were occurrences that defendants knew would result or were substantially certain to result from the defendants' alleged conduct here."
What's the difference?

No they'll get their guns...it's the citizens(subjects) who who are to be disarmed. Your knights don't get disarmed, they have to be armed to protect the elites from the subjects when they get fed up of having their freedoms and rights taken away.

You're gonna' just love being a slave after they complete the process of using mass shootings and violent crime that they encourage to disarm you.

Note the movie "Braveheart". Classic example of a people ruled by a weapons banning tyrannical government

What's the difference?Nearly all liberals have cars. This is not true of guns. Remember that the liberal mantra is to accept pain endured by others if it makes things better for the liberal self.

If they don't steal the elections we just got 3 or four Patriots elected to the state house in Maryland.

Nearly all liberals have cars. This is not true of guns. The liberal leadership definitely have guns. The "problem" is that they very well can't use them to enslave people who also have guns.
