The income tax IS constitutional, not that I like it. If we have to have it at all I say a simple flat tax accross the board, at a low rate.

I don't quite understand either of this. Would a sales tax be like an uber-excise tax? And doesn't the 16th Amendment specificaly say income taxes are OK? Now, I disagree with pretty much every aobut an income tax, but how is it not constitutional?

Unless you are convinced by the people who say it was never ratified, the income tax DOES have its very own constitutional amendment. Repealing that would allay the fears of those who think we would end up with NRST+income tax.
