I'm not so sure that is accurate. It would eliminate the loop holes for illegals (what 9 or so million of them) and it would open up a new source from tourism. Most of the rich people (leftists) avoid income taxes all together. Question is -- will the tax apply to purchases made from abroad? We are the largest exporter in the world of consumer goods. This could actually be a tax on the world.

You're wrong here, though. I know rich people and they're paying through the nose, and yes, two of them have very good business managers/accountants. My husband makes a good 6-figure income and is therefore "rich" according to the tax code, and we're getting reamed as well (approx. 48% income tax).
