"TRT Rules! Thanks for breaking the Kennedy Curse, one down and a bunch to go!"
Correction. That's TWO down (Mark Shriver & KKT) and the rest of the "Kennedy Klan" to go.

It's too bad we wound up with Van Hollen in the end, but Morella always voted with the left anyways. We now have a wolf in wolf's clothing.

The problem with Morella's loss is that every two years the Dimocrats spent millions of dollars trying to knock her out. Now that money will be free to go after Republicans elsewhere. We did not do our job in MD, by allowing the Dimocrats to go +2 in our Congressional Delegation.

Wrong! Just who is the "We" you're referring to anyway?
THIS "we", the Maryland TRT and certain FReepers, VOLUNTARILY did OUR "job" and got Bobby and Michael, as well as other pro-gun candidates elected. Both the TRT and Maryland FReepers are neither political action committees nor shills for the Republican Party. However, both the TRT and Maryland FReepers tend to support CONSERVATIVE candidates and values most representative of the majority of values esposed here on Free Republic.
Morella, certain other Republicans, and even some gunowners, openly criticized and/or covertly tried to undermine the TRT's leadership and Maryland FReepers. These attacks on the TRT backfired on those particular Republicans and alienated enough of the GOP's conservative base voters to the advantage their DemocRAT opponents.
Obviously, the "control of Congress" argument to support certain RINOs didn't hold up here in Maryland either.
TRT rules!
P.S. The Ehrlich/Steele campaign's leadership wisely chose NOT to "diss" the TRT. :-)

Even during the time the infamous
"sniper" was still
at large, after having just killed five local citizens earlier that week, the Maryland
TRT, voluntarily and publicly performed community service up and down a major Montgomery County road on 10/5/2002!
Members of the TRT, including children, pose next to a pile of roadside trash just collected for pickup, as part of the TRT's contribution to the local government's "ADOPT A ROAD" program. The TRT has actually "adopted" a part of a major road linking the local Bethesda and Potomac regions to each other. Anti-gun, limosine liberal trash tend to dump their "trash" on this road. Therefore, the TRT relishes the occasional opportunity to pick up and throw out "liberal trash" every once in a while. ;-)

Howdy drZ, I'm looking for the artist who created the M-16 Gadsen, if it's you I'd like to use it as cover art on my RKBA novel with permission. I'll freepmail you a link to the promotional website now under construction, where the first 1/3 of the book is posted under excerpts to see if it's your style.
