They knew the unions would be out in force in Revere yesterday, canvassing for the Democrats. So the Republicans were prepared to match them, town chairman George Anzuoni said. They assigned people to hold signs at every precinct. Everyone showed up. They stayed even when it got cold, he said, though ''they usually trickle away.''

I have to eat my words today. I posted a few times recently that Republicans had forgotten how to win elections and would continue to lose until they developed a "ground game" to match the Democrats. It appears they did, in state after state. Republicans organized, identified their voters, and got them to the polls. A fantastic job by Republicans. My faith in the Party is restored!!!

Way to go Massachusetts!!!

''I don't know where they were,'' Anzuoini said of the union barrage he had expected. ''They dropped signs off and left them there. ... Some people came and stayed for a couple of hours and left.'' "

They got paid just the same whether they stayed or not. Obviously the Dem Party did not have the white hats (supervisors) out checking attendance.

This is the same way he turned disaster into victory in the 2002 Winter Olympics.

It is the same way he will win his presidential campaign.

Republicans would do well to analyze and fully adopt his simple, yet devastatingly effective strategies.

Darn, I sure wish Simon had talked to Romney. I think it could have been winnable here in CA if we had not given up on our guy, but I suspect a lot of people did. The Angels win should have thought Republicans here in CA that it's not over till it's over.
