Part of the problem is the basic math. In many of the rat voting counties north of San Francisco, we have about 50% of the people who work for some form of of government, the federal, state, county or city. These people are 100% rat activists. They vote solid rat, donate large sums of money and are as I noted Rat activists. These are not welfare rats, they live a good life.

Throw the union rats into that mix, and the Rats in the counties north and east of SF control the elections.

Both are liberal rat infested cities, with rat college age voters, and of course the professors and people who work for the colleges. So Thompson was able to go Havana to kiss Fidels you know what and sing Happy Birthday Fidel with 20 other rat watermelon congressits. Then he went Iraq to protect Saddam and suckle at his knees. Due to the rat population in his district, he won big time. He has a large % of the well off rat government workers in his district.

The media plays a huge role in the lack of focus on issues. This gubernatorial campaign lacked any discussion of facts. If there had been factual discussion, the facts surrounding our decrepit healthcare and educational systems would be painfully obvious.

No kidding. Simon only lost by five points whereas CA GOP standardbearer lost by twenty points to Davis four years ago. If the liberal RAT owned media rags had covered the latest Davis scandal, Simon may well have won this race even without an additional Bush visit.
