I was hoping it would pass, so the rest of the country would see what a trainwreck it was. It would truly be a beacon warning what not to do. I fear we will have a national plan forced on us sometime down the road.

I fear we will have a national plan forced on us sometime down the road...if the final numbers on this were anything like the 80-20 reported here, I'd bet this would be the first example of how unworkable and unpopular the concept of socialized-medicine really is that would be tossed in the face of anyone foolish enough to suggest it, for a few years anyhow....a real repudiation, especially from a state as liberal as Oregon....
