Bexar County Election Results Delayed
LAST UPDATE: 11/5/2002 10:28:21 PM

It could be a long night for politicians and their supporters. Reports are coming in to News 4 WOAI that the final results of today's elections may be slow in coming.

Election Results:

According to Gabe Quentinilla, who heads the Bexar County Democratic Party, party lawyers at election headquarters report tabulators got a late start today with the early ballots.

This fact alone could have a domino effect -- delaying today's precinct count.

When there will be a final tally is hard to predict. The San Antonio Express News writes final results probably will not be ready until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Keep it tuned to News Radio 1200 WOAI and to News 4 WOAI for your up-to-the-minute election coverage.

This is a LARGE county and may be shy Bonilla is still showing to be beating the Democrat Cuellar.

Aaaah, I meant why Cuellar is still shown to be beating Bonilla!!!! (it's late, and this Bonilla-being-beaten possibility has me chewing my nails and typing at the same time)

Today's ballots have yet to be touched. Problem with the early voting ballot is that 2 page ballot garbage that has been going on for weeks. Gabe Quentinilla has been on KTSA repaetedly tonight...threatening to sue the Cornyn campaign for threating voters...threatening suits because pollworkers supposedly closed down polling places right at 7pm with voters still in line.

Yep, you can't tell me Sanchez has no fans in SA.

Plus Tarrant, Harris and Travis cos. straight-ticket votes.

Things should look quite different tomorrow.
