Here is another link from Charlotte TV.

It looks like most of these results are from RAT Precincts as Hayes was up in all the polls but is down here.

This is great news, when I went out this afternoon, some of the polls had Bowles ahead.

FOX - JIM ANGLE: REPUBLICANS ARE CONFIDENT THAT DOLE WILL WIN

I heard him say that to.. That is huge. Looking to be a huge night for the Republicans. Gotta go get out fellow Pubs here in California to vote Simon.

Simon over Davis would be the coupe de grace.

Me too Calisto. I never have to show anything. My husband was a poll watcher at E. Lee St. and he said it was clean as a whistle, no problems.

Just noticed that Saxby has pulled narrowly ahead now that some of the competitive congressional races are reporting.

I never have to show anything

Has it always been that way in NC for the General Election?

BTW, it's good to talk with you, I've beeen away from the computer for a while...minor accident resulting in a crushed, broken thumb (naturally, the one that I use to click the mouse.) It's improved over the last several weeks, though.

Dole is increasing her lead now. Does anyone know where these numbers are coming from.

I know that Bowles was ahead in Raleigh/Durham Area, but Dole was leading in Greensboro, Charlotte, The Far West and the South-East.

If these are numbers from Democratic Areas Dole is safe.

Watching CNN is a hoot!

The NC District 3 Congressional race has no substantive returns yet, but Republican Walter Jones is opposed only by a Libertarian - that race has already been projected for the GOP: so we're looking good for a 7-6 GOP majority from NC in the House of Reps.

The reason that I asked was because I had that happen to me one time in California, but I was still in the same precinct and they still would not let me vote.
