Fox reporting Alexander(R) wins senate seat in Tenn.

Celebration commencing here in Rep HQ in Memphis. I will endeavor to remain upright and online so long as possible.

>>Isn't Morella a RINO? Guess it doesn't matter on the one hand, but on the other, better a RINO than a DEM, any day<<

Morella was an anti-male, anti-father feminazi extremist.

Good riddance.

Fox calling MI governorship for Granholm (D). Dems pick up that governor's seat. She was born in Canada, btw.

WSBT news update confirms that Howard Co (in Union heavy Kokomo) went for Chocola. They just interviewed a Jill! supporter at the UAW HQ in South Bend. The reporter gave her the news, and she did her best to put on a brave face. Reporterette said the mood at Jill!'s HQ had markedly darkened (YEAHHHHHHH!!!)

Do you have a link for Massachusetts numbers? I can't find any results on the Secretary of State's page.

CNN just called Florida for Jeb Bush."

This is a huge win because of Gore and Clinton Both in Florida campaigning. Al gore put his reputation on the line in Florida. Just heard J. Bush up 20%. This is unbelievable, especially the news media calling it to close to call Yesterday.

It was ok until now... FOX projects the Hillary clone, Jennifer Granholm, the new socialist governor of Michigan. Thank GOD she won't be a pick for the national scene- she was born in Canada.

Looks like Nebraska stays GOP. No big surprise though. EVERYONE from NE is GOP. Fed and State. GOP Gov incumbent hast twice the votes as the competition.

The only way that Tom Osborne could lose is if Bob Devaney ever ran against him.

Pitt resignation timing is interesting. Wonder if Bush thought this would be a good time to "urge" him to leave since dems will be a bit distracted right now and not able to gloat as much.

Fox just called it for Lamar in TN!!!! Pubbies on a roll!!!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. My wife and I contributed 2 votes to Lamar, so we contributed about .00005% to his win.

With 7% of the votes counted, Mitt Romney (R) is leading Shannon "Hillary" O'Brien 52-44%! I am absolutely ecstatic as I have been worried about this race for weeks now. A Mitt Romney victory will make my night more than anything else that could happen tonight (and there looks like there will be plenty of other good news to go around nationally).

This is a great night!

Sad, but probably had to happen. They messed up big time on William Webster.

If I had been Bush, I'd have fired the fat boy when he bypassed the administration and went directly to Congress to have the SEC declared a Cabinet post!

This guy was politically brain dead!

Sheesh, the timing is horrible. Even if the GOP does well and retakes the Senate, it gives the Dems and media something to scream and howl about, a way to smear Bush in what may turn into an otherwise great night. Plus given the looming reality that smarmy Dem tricks such as in AR may be a huge story tomorrow, it sure would help for the GOP to be able to portray themselves as standing on the ethical high ground.

Stupid timing, but perhaps this was initiated by Pitt as a form of revenge. I'm not buying that spin about burying this story on election night, since it is getting wide discussion on the news channels.
