Same figures on cnn.com. Yes, Simon takes the lead by over a percent! Wouldn't it be something if he pulled it out?

Alabama Governor Race Now the gap is just 3000 votes with 91 percent of polls counted. Riley(R) is very close now. This is probable going to be one of the tighest races in the nation.
Arrrggggg... Come on Riley, pull it out for the gipper..

Geez, seems to me that the daughter of that woman over at DU will have an entirely different set of problems. Her mother is getting drunk while she is still in the womb; her mother drinks for solace; her mother is weak and stupid and psychotic...
To: Skel
I'm drunk. I'm scared to death. My daughter is coming and I don't know how I will protect her...You might start by kicking your alcohol addiction.
Drinking alcoholic beverages is a ROTTEN thing for an expectant mother to do! I thought you people were all "for the children."
I mean, I realize you could just ABORT the child any time you wish--because thankfully, THAT wonderful, beautiful "right" for which you Godless, Leftist thugs have fought so hard, is still left to you.
But if you actually WANT the child, want her to be healthy and happy, you might get rid of the bottle.
Just a thought.

CNN just predicted that the Republican challenger, Sunny Purdue, for gov. of Georgia is the winner. This is quite an upset!
Judy could hardly say the words: "President Bush has been successful in Georgia."
Oh, this is a GREAT night.

KCAL 9 in L.A. is reporting... With18% reporting... Simon 46% - Davis 45%. Come on CA you can do it....MA and MD already did it.

Please forgive me--I'm drunk. And I'm very sad. And I'm very, very afraid. I have a daughter who is about to be born, for God's sake. Sheesh - and she thinks WE'RE scary??!! What about a drunk pregnant Democrat... she ought to be afraid for her baby all right, but because of her own actions, not ours.

Mrs. Terrell is a Republican. We don't have a true primary here. Everyone runs on election day, and if no one wins a clear majority, then we have a runoff between the top two candidates regardless of their party. We had three strong Republican candidates, and Mrs. Terrell has done the best of the three.

What's going on with TX all of a sudden. Fox is being "very cautious", and will not call it for the Repubs. I've heard about the voting problems, but does anyone local have more info. What is the real scoop on TX senate? Thnx
To: Letitring
K, :) The next month is gonna be wild down here. I'm not sure just yet what the new campaign finance law is gonna do to us. Landrieu had a hefty warchest.
What is the latest word out of SD tonight ? :)
To: Illbay
WRONG, O DU (accidental) Mom (accidental, because apparently she didn't abort in time).
Your daughter is going to be born into a...
Free Republic!
Are you trying to push the poor DUmba** over the edge? For shame! /snicker

Hutchinson conceeds. As much as I hate to lose a Senate seat......I dislike him even more!
Why? Because he didn't live up to some fundie gospel call?
You'll be happy with a liberal like Mark Pryor, won't you? A cretin who will side with the pro-choice, pro-partial-birth-abortion-loving Tom Daschle.
Hope you feel better.
To: Skel
You know, reading the comments over on DU (got it up in a separate window), it shares an awful lot of similarity to FR when we're down in the dumps.
Murphy's military laws #44:
When both sides are convinced they're about to lose, they're both right.
That being said, better them than me! :-)

From DU :
My daughter is coming and I don't know how I will protect her against the horror that my beloved America has embraced. I'm stunned to find out that this poor, unfortunate Democrat even has a daughter, much less one she actually pretends to care for...
How did her daughter escape the abortion mill? Knowing people from DU they might just abort their pregnancies to put their kids out of their 'misery.'
