The present tense is unforgiving. It is brutal, and it is mean.Thank you for the most insightful post of the evening. It was worth sticking around to read a wordsmith with real thoughts and new ideas.

Well at least we can freep him at every opportunity, he made a lot of promises that he can't keep.

Chris Matthews just suggested that Bill Frist could be a leading candidate for VP in 04 because he credits much of the success that the GOP is having in the senate races to Frist and the VP slot would be a reward. I can't disagree with Matthews, Frist has a lot going for him and I think he would have great appeal nationally.

From the DU board:
"NPR is turning in to a Republican love fest"

I'm drunk. And I'm very sad. And I'm very, very afraid. I have a daughter who is about to be born, for God's sake. . . .Her name is Isabella Grace And Isabella -- why did you bother to name a simple, unliving appendage of your body anyway? -- may very well suffer some brain damage due to her irresponsible mother's drinking.
OTOH fetal brain damage may explain the DU.

Alabama Governor Race Now the gap is just 3000 votes with 91 percent of polls counted. Riley(R) is very close now. This is probable going to be one of the tighest races in the nation.

And his daughter is going to grow up to become a Republican, too. But not until she reaches her teenage years, when she rebels against her parents...

Drunk and enormously selfish and stupid: she's pregnant and drunk. Ugh! Not only do her politics suck, so does her thought process.

Thanks. Davison County SD went for Bush in 2000 4,445-2,936, so that might be as much as a net 1,000 for Thune. Fingers crossed...
